オカッパファンク７枚目のアルバムは自ら音響設計などに関わった自宅プライベートスタジオ建設し
そのスタジオで収録された記念すべき１枚。

今回はアメリカ人ミュージシャンをエンジニア Nathan Bauld（Tower of Power　etc,,)主導のもと
現地で起用し、リモート体制でのレコーディングと
国内のミュージシャンはRECスタジオとプライベートスタジオでの行き来で制作された。

自身初のRAPに挑戦するなど全体的にJ dillaなどの流れを受けたヒップホップ/オーガニックソウルの音楽をベースにして70S R&Bやモータウンなどのサウンドを彷彿させる仕上がりとなっている。
saxプレイはより円熟味を増し、昔懐かしい往年のテナーサウンドが聞ける１枚。


This album is ７ th album by Oh Kappa Funk @ Home and title is 2023.
She built private studio at this year and she almost recorded whole sounds at there .She is involved sound design for the studio with sound engineers .

At this time ,Nathan Bauld leads recording session in his recording studio in Oakland and of course of nature Nathan brought first call musicians from Bay area then she did recording in Japan in recording studio and private studio few times like branches were back and force .

About this album,she recorded rap as first experience . This album has vibes of J dilla ,Organic soul like D'angelo and Hip hop like she always do .But you can feel sounds like 70's urban soul ,motown music ,too.
Sax sound is very sophisticated and mellow ,totally you can get good vibes form this album .
